About the author: John Bray was born in Oxford in 1939. After serving three years in the Royal Artillery seeing action in Cyprus, he married in 1962. He has two children, both of whom are now married and living in Dorset. He also has two teenage granddaughters. John moved to Poole in 1982 and worked in a variety of jobs in the area. Before retiring in 2004, he was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, and, partly due to his disability, turned to writing. His hobbies include wood carving, gardening and DIY until recently. He has just completed his fourth novel.
